What Maui Hawaii souvenirs should you look for during your dream vacation on the island?
I can't answer this question for you. Only you can decide what is a great souvenir or gift according to your personal taste. But what I can do, is share ideas and suggest some of the most popular Maui souvenirs.
Here's a list of popular and unique Maui Hawaii souvenirs. Hopefully, among all those suggestions, you will find an idea that you like. Click on the links to see more details.
My first suggestion is a 100%-free souvenir. What is it exactly? It's about memories and how to make sure that you bring back home tons of those great memories that make a vacation last a lifetime.
I know, you are looking for more concrete souvenirs and gifts. I'll get to that. But before I jump into the concrete stuff, let me invite you, once more, to prepare your vacation with a specific mindset: slow-down, relax, enjoy the moment, let the aloha feel your soul. This is Hawaii. You want to bring back home a whole bunch of 'feel-good' memorable moments. Plan your trip accordingly (this site is here to help) and it will happen.
My second suggestion is to take pictures… lots of pictures! I may be a little biased, being an enthusiast photographer, but after all these years of traveling I am still amazed by the power of pictures. Looking at your travel photos with friends and family back home is always a special event. Two weeks, two years or even twenty, it doesn't matter. Pictures have the power to awake even the oldest memories.
You love pictures but don't like to take the shots? Or maybe are you looking for better Maui photos than the one you take with your small point-and-shoot camera?
My Exclusive Maui Hawaii Posters Series may be just for you. I do love to take pictures, especially pictures of Hawaii. I have thousands of them. As a testimony to Maui's beauty, I have created a series of high-quality posters. They may just be the perfect Maui Hawaii souvenir you are looking for. Visit this page to see all available pictures, formats (prints, framed and greeting cards) and order details. I'll be glad if one of my images moves you.
Tip - Leave home with some room in your luggage to bring back your Maui souvenirs. No room? It's sometimes possible for the vendor to ship the souvenirs you just bought directly to your home. This usually means extra dollars. Another option? See how you can shop for Maui souvenirs from home using the web.

Yes, it's true. Maui produces wine. Visit the one and only upcountry Maui's Winery (Tedeschi Vineyards) at Ulupalakua Ranch and take home a bottle or two. The drive to Kula is great and the scenery awesome. Take a tour and taste the different products: sparkling, pineapple, grape and raspberry dessert wine. Avoid bad surprises. Make sure you know what is and what is not allowed on the plane, especially for international travelers. For instance, Hawaii fruits must be treated to be allowed to leave the island. Visit my Airplane Carry On Tips, Rules and Regulations page as a starting point and make sure to check Hawaii's specific regulations on the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) website.
