This is no secret. You will find the cheap Maui Airfare your are looking for using an Online Agency.
In 3 clicks, you have access to the entire spectrum of airline offers. ...and you get to do your research from the comfort of your home!
Every time I compared, I found better prices online. That's the raw power of the Internet in action. Hard on local businesses, good for your pockets. I know, that doesn't make everybody happy...
But we are planning your dream vacations here, not discussing politics! So, let's focus on our mission: Help you find the best rates available for your Hawaiian vacations.
Not sure about booking online? I wrote a specific page on the benefits of using online booking tools. Go read it here.
Here are a few tips to help you increase your chances of saving some extra money on your Maui flight ticket.
Try week-days to find
cheap Maui Airfare
If your dates are flexible, try to depart on week-days instead of weekend. Flying on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays can make you save some precious money.
If you are planning well in advance, booking early can bring you some good deals on flight tickets. Therefore, you usually get more choices in terms of airlines, time of departure, flight duration, etc.
The same can be true for travelers in fear of planning to much in advance (could be me!). Look for those 'Last Minutes Deals' a week or two before leaving. You might find major rebates on Hawaii airline tickets.
When betting on the Last Minute 'Lottery', you must be ready to deal with less choices of dates, connections, flights duration, etc. You might even end-up paying more or finding no tickets available for your destination on a specific day. Be ready to compromise.
While browsing online travel agencies offers, on websites like Expedia.com, OneTravel.com or CheapOair.com, click on the 'Sort by Price' button. The cheapest Maui flight tickets will appear first. Pay attention though: these flights might propose multiple connections.
You can see the number of stops for each flight by looking at the table usually found at the top of the page. You can even sort Maui flights by duration, departure and arrival time. Don't be afraid to play with the tools and filters.
If you own a car and live nearby a big city, it might be cheaper to book a flight from the main airport instead of your local airport. Don't forget to add parking fees to your budget though, unless you have a friend in the main city...
Leave your car at his home and ask him to get you to the airport. It's a win-win situation. You get a free lift to the airport and you save the parking fees. Your friend gets a free car for the duration or your vacations. This kind of deal worked like a charm for me. Try it!
